Think Positive to Accomplish Great Things

Did you know that your body believes what your mind says? It’s true. Finally, science is proving this, even though experts in the practice of positive thinking have been saying this for decades!

Let me explain: if you have a negative, self-defeating thought about anything at all, it will be “heard” by every cell in your body. So, if you’re doing something that you need to finish and you keep telling yourself how tired you are, guess what? You will have diminished energy and have a tougher time completing your task at hand. In the same way, if you tell yourself you will catch a cold because you’ve come in contact with someone who has one, well, you have a good chance of doing just that!

Apply positive thoughts to a serious disease or major illness and the same holds true. Your body has more power to overcome whatever ails you if you believe you can conquer it.  I’m not saying that you will never be under the weather (or I like to say, “less than 100%”) but you have a much better chance of staying healthy if you feed yourself healthy, positive thoughts. If you are currently fighting a disease, I’m not saying that positive thinking is a miracle cure… but it will help. And this works in every area of your life. If you think you can’t do something, you probably won’t even attempt it.

Pay attention to your thoughts and change your mind when negativity starts seeping in. The results will be a healthier, happier you.
